Our Story

Owner Dan Kelley graduated from Conestoga College's Architectural Millwork program in the summer of 2007, married his wife Jessica, and opened his business one week later, named Daniel Kelley Custom Cabinetry.

In the beginning, his primary work was cabinet installations. He slowly began to expand his services, designing custom-built cabinetry for kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces and more. Dan was often found building furniture and cabinets out of his 200-square-foot garage. It became abundantly clear that more space was needed. In 2010, he moved into a local industrial building. When that space was outgrown, he built a custom workshop on his property to accommodate the changes that came with a growing clientele. We are looking forward to expanding yet again into our new shop space and showroom in Ripley for the summer of 2024.

At the beginning of 2024, the business re-branded from Daniel Kelley Custom Cabinetry to Acacia Fine Cabinetry. Acacia wood is known for its strength, durability and endurance. Beyond its physical characteristics, its symbolic qualities remind us that if we plant our roots in faith, we too can draw strength and endurance from The Lord.

We look forward to this new chapter in our history. We will continue to improve ourselves as a business to better serve our customers and are excited for the next years ahead.

The best is yet to come.
